Visit Kokololio Beach Park on Oahu Island
Kokololio, which translates as "gusty" in Hawaiian, is the name of a valley and a stream on Oahu's northeastern coast, north of the town Hau'ula. The beach park is located at the bottom of the valley, next to the stream. Kokololio Beach is a lovely expanse of beach, and swimming is permitted during the summer months. Local locals enjoy camping in Kokololio on weekends, particularly during the summer months. Although the beach park is a county campground, permits are necessary to stay there.
