Shangri La - Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design
The Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture, and Design is located near Diamond Head, just outside Honolulu, Hawaii, in the former home of Doris Duke. The Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art currently owns and operates it as a public museum of Islamic arts and civilizations (DDFIA). The Honolulu Museum of Art, which runs the tours in collaboration with the DDFIA, provides guided tours.
